On the other hand, the attachment-disordered child can often be disengaged from, and inattentive towards, others in the context of their inability to form meaningful relationships.

These perceptions and beliefs allow the child to confidently go forth into the world, exploring and accepting challenges without inordinate fear of failure, such that all aspects of their development and adjustment are then promoted.
